Brian MacMurdo is an Emergency Number Professional (ENP) and a NENA Certified Center Manager (CMCP). He has been in the public safety communications industry for the past twenty-three years. He began his career with the Hamilton County Communications Center in southwest Ohio. Brian has served as a frontline emergency call taker and dispatcher and has over sixteen years of leadership experience in the PSAP. He is the Chairman of the Ohio Gold Star Awards Program (which recognizes Ohio’s Public Safety Telecommunicators) and serves as the Ohio NENA Chapter Vice President. He is a Project Manager with DATAMARK (the public safety team of Michael Baker International). Brian is passionate about telecommunicator mental health and wellness and motivating and helping others reach their full potential.
