Jim Lake is the Consolidated 9-1-1 Center Director for Charleston County. Jim serves on the National 911 Program Office Content Oversight Panel and is Executive Committee Chairman for the South Carolina Coastal Area Cooperative. He has achieved the designation of Emergency Number Professional from the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and has developed several courses on leadership and management taught at the national level. His work experience includes 9-1-1 consulting and center management and management of statewide training and public education programs. Prior to this, he served as a police officer and volunteer firefighter/EMT.
