Lisa Dodson has been in the 9-1-1 industry for 35 years with a blend of experience in both public sector and private sector. She was the 9-1-1 Coordinator for the 3rd largest Sheriff's Office in the county located in Houston, TX as well as the Regional CAD/RMS/Mobile Administrator for a 10-agency system. For the last decade, she has been in the private sector space providing project management services in delivering large-scale public safety systems. With Motorola Solutions, she focuses on delivering of NGCS and NG911 call routing solutions. She has been a NENA member for over 20 years and actively participating in and leading the development of 9-1-1 industry standards. Continually challenging herself to achieve career growth, she has held leadership roles within NENA; at the chapter level as Texas NENA President, as well as at the national level on the NENA Development Group. She currently volunteers as Co-chair for the NENA Development Steering Council and Volunteer Committee Co-Chair on the Women in 9-1-1 Alliance. She can often be seen providing workshops and presentations on 9-1-1 industry topics at state and national conferences.
