Not the norm

Alright Jabber Loggers I need your help! I need some suggestions and I know I can count on you to hook me up with some awesome ideas. So let's look at this picture. Do you know who this is? If not, this is Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. Not only is this guy badass but he likes to yell some choice profanities and he does it well. Combine his words with this look and you have an epic response to someone. With this said, imagine that you are in a public setting and you happen to see someone with this look yelling at another person. The public place is a restaurant and a customer is yelling and swearing at a waitress. This would be out of the norm correct? I mean, it's not something you see every day and if you're like me you were brought up to respect people so it would not be normal to yell and swear at anyone, let alone someone who is waiting on you. What would people think? How would they react? This right here is the basis of what I'm looking for from you. What I need are your opinions on what is out of the norm. I am currently taking a class called Psychology of Human Interaction and this is my first assignment. The following are the guidelines to project and the rules.

Create a list of 6 simple norms, pick at least 3 of the norms to go out and violate in a public setting. Here are a few ground rules: 1. Violate your three norms in a public setting, in the clear presence of others. 2. Your audience should be made up of strangers, not friends and relatives. 3. Don’t do anything illegal, dangerous, unethical or anything that might get you in serious trouble. (I will not bail you out of jail.) 4. Avoid doing crazy behavior like rolling around on the restaurant floor. Instead violate a social rule like asking a stranger in line if you can cut to the front of the line. 5. Unless you really get into trouble, try to avoid rationalizing the violation after doing it.

As you can see from my list what I am doing here on Jabber Log is not cheating, I simply want to know what you think would be out of the norm. I already have my list but maybe I will use something that you have suggested. I will then do three of these in public and document the reactions that I get. If I'm feeling froggy I might even find a way to record it for a later post. Here are a few examples my professor provided the class;

Singing loud in public Cheer people on Ask someone if you can cut in line. Ask to borrow someone’s brush

This is only option A for this assignment and for option B we have to sit in a public place and observe about 10 social norms that have been violated and write about it. I don't know that I want to do this one because I don't like to miss an opportunity to play the fool. I'm sure it will be pretty funny and awkward but the point is to get a reaction so help me out people. Let me know what you think with a comment. Thank you for your help and I will be watching the comments so that I can respond back to your ideas. Cheers!
