Threadsy gives back through t-shirts
Have you ever had the urge to give back to the community? Seth Manthei did and with that urge he added his passion for design and launched Threadsy. “It’s a t-shirt company that raises funds and awareness for charity groups,” explains Manthei in a recent podcast. According to the company’s official website, “We sell each tee for 7 days and give $7 of every product sold directly to that week's charity.” Manthei does each design in-house and explains the process as, “right now I’m doing all the designs, their hand drawn artwork which I discovered a passion for after graduation.” He refers to his recent graduation from Full Sail University where he was named valedictorian and received a Bachelors of Science in graphic design.
Currently the company is spearheading a campaign for No Kid Hungry. According to threadsytee.com, “The No Kid Hungry campaign connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.” The site goes on to mention that, “this week, every purchase will help provide up to 70 meals for one hungry child.” Manthei and his company are currently filling up their weekly schedule with new charities to assist with funding and awareness.
