Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Last year was full of learning. You learned how to adapt to your circumstances. You became really good at sanitizing items! By now, you can probably measure six feet out in a glance. And lastly, you learned that registering for Dare to be Great is a must!

Dare to be Great 1 and 2 hosted over nine thousand attendees worldwide with 60 hours of FREE training from the best in the industry. Within the Trenches has yet again pulled together a fantastic lineup for you folks. Headlining the event as keynote speakers are California Congresswoman Norma Torres, Founder of 911der Women Sara Weston, and Ret. Police Officer of the San Antonio Police Department Ernie Stevens.

Here's What to Expect:

Free Learning (now and later): This event provides live and on-demand education, so if you miss a session or just really like it, you can go back and watch it! There will be sessions on how to better your PSAP's operations, encouragement for the tough times, how to be a leader in your PSAP, using your passion, how to work and work through disasters.

New Friends: There are people from all over the world attending this event! You might think that being online will make it challenging to create new relationships, but that's just the opposite! Get involved in the conversation online using #DTBG. Post photos of how you're enjoying the conference, ask questions to speakers and vendors that are sharing throughout the week. You can interact with other attendees and vendors to build connections and relationships! While you're attending a session, partake in the chat, ask questions and share your ideas and experiences! Don't let the distance between one another stop you from building friendships.

911 & Working from Home:  2020 brought many unique challenges to you and your PSAPs. From COVID precautions to staffing shortages, you all had to start thinking outside the box, and the 911 center, for that matter, so that you could continue to serve your callers and keep each other safe and healthy. Much of the country worked from home during 2020. For dispatchers, this wasn't really the case. There were hoops to jump through for you to work from home, but some of you jumped! VP of Market Management at INdigital, Caleb Branch, brings together state and local 911 representatives who jumped through those hopes and worked from home. His goal of the discussion is to shed light on what works, what doesn't, and paths forward to making work from home more widely acceptable.

Ransomware Event & the Midwest: Whether you know it or not, a recent Ransomware event crippled a primary 911 call handling system in a large midwest county. This event did not make national headlines leaving the country unaware. Join Curt, a Next-Gen Core Services Engineer at INdigital learned more about how this happened and what PSAPs need to think about moving forward.

Leave Encouraged: You chose a career path that not many would think of, and you do extraordinary at it. We hope this conference shows you that you’re not alone in your ups and downs, that there are people all over the world who sit in a chair similar to yours and have been where you've been. Here at INdigital, many of our employees have sat in the hot seat too, so they can relate to the chair you’re in. We hope our sessions reassure you that there are vendors out there whose goal is to better the industry so that you can do your job to the very best of your abilities.
