Sometimes things come full circle...

I want to share something with all of you. A week or so ago I received a call from a my good friend, Dawn Shumway. We spoke for a while and towards the end of the conversation she told me that she had one last thing to share with me.

She told me that one of her crew had recently come into her office and while she was in there she noticed Dawn's Imagine Listening book. She started skimming through it and on page 72 she found this story; her story.

She had submitted it a long time ago and here it was, in Imagine Listening, right in front of her. I was blown away by what Dawn was telling me. I told her, "Please tell her thank you for me. Thank you for sharing and for what she does."

A little while after we hung up I received an email notification for a podcast guest from Katherine and I was nervous and excited. I have met many people who have shared #IAM911 stories but not exactly like this.

It was an honor and a pleasure to have Katherine on the podcast. I learned so much about her, the great work she does, and the story behind the image. It's an episode you do not want to miss.
