We experience victories too - #IAM911

You said you wouldn't make it to the hospital in time and you were right. Your wife was screaming in pain in the background. You not only followed my every instruction, but you also comforted her the best you could. Then I heard those sweet newborn cries...music to my ears! You did such a great job!

I hung up and announced to the room, "We have a girl!" This job is not all-encompassing horror and pain. Although that is a part of it, we experience victories too. Maybe it's the hardest calls that make those victories so much more beautiful and amazing. I'm blessed to work in this field with these great people.
